Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Leavitt Center?

The Leavitt Center is Pocatello's Premiere center for the arts. We offer a wide variety of performing and fine arts classes. Our mission is to bring the arts to the community and empower children, teens, and adults to find their voice in their art and better improve their quality of life and those around them.

What is our billing policy?

The Leavitt Center does not offer month-to-month classes, but all students will need to pay for the entire season in which they are enrolled. Classes require signing up for auto-pay in order to enroll. This does not mean your card will be charged immediately. With auto-pay, you will be charged for any registration fees, class supply fees, and first month's tuition with your first payment. Monthly tuition will be deducted on the first of every month in the season.

If you would like to pay in full, you will still need to enroll in autopay, then contact the office and you will be able to pay in full with cash, check or card. No monthly autopay will be charged as there will be no balance on your account.

There is a 3% fee for any payments made with a card.

Please contact us with any questions about charges, payments, or payment options.

Is there a discount for multiple classes or for multiple students within a family?

YES! We have recently revamped our billing structure to automatically apply a discount for multiple students and/or multiple classes!

Each hour that is enrolled in (by the same student or another in the family) will result in a 5% discount!

What are the registration and supply fees?

The registration fee is a one-time per semester fee that is payed out to the Leavitt Center for each student who registers. We do offer an Early Bird Special each semester where you can enroll in future semesters and waive the registration fee.

The supply fee is a fee set by each instructor to provide materials, supplies, costumes, props, etc. for the class they are offering. It directly benefits the students and their experience.

What are our hours?

Please contact your instructor about class time details or refer to our "Classes" page.

Please contact the office for office hours. (855) 653-2487

What is our enrollment policy?

At the time of enrollment the student will be enrolled for the entire duration of each class season or year (whichever applies) and agrees to pay all tuition and fees associated with the class. Student also agree to attend all scheduled practices, rehearsals, stage days, performances and any extra practices that are assigned by the instructor.  In addition you are responsible for all payments associated with the class even if the student drops out. You can try the class one time before enrolling at no cost to make sure you are comfortable with the teacher and curriculum. All special circumstances require review from the board of directors.
